About

The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is Australia’s national authority on gender equality in the workplace, responsible for assessing and reporting on organisational gender pay gaps and workforce composition. The WGEA provides clear national benchmarks on gender equality, which helps illustrate why understanding our own data is important in strengthening our ongoing commitment to equity. The following statement outlines our commitment to fostering genuine gender equity and the steps we are implementing to close our identified gap.

Our commitment

At IPC Health, we are committed to fostering a workplace where all employees, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities to thrive and achieve success in their chosen profession. While we are proud to have a female CEO and a leadership team where 56% of our board is composed of women, we acknowledge that we currently have a gender pay gap of 15%.

This figure highlights the need for continued focus on gender equity. The gender pay gap is not the result of unequal pay for men and women doing the same job. It is influenced by the under representation of females in some of our higher-paying roles and functions.

We recognise that achieving true equity requires considered, intentional sustained action. We are committed to:

Increasing representation in leadership and higher paying roles. We will continue to build pathways for females to advance their careers, particularly in underrepresented areas

Promote pay transparency and equity. Continue to advertise salaries as part of our attraction strategy, report on the outcomes of regular pay gap audits will ensure our practices remain fair and unbiased

Support flexible working and career progression: We’ll normalise flexible working for all employees and aim to reduce barriers for women and men balancing work and life outside of work

We view the Gender Pay Gap conversation as a priority. We will continue to take concrete steps to address the gap, we will continue to create a workplace where every employee is empowered, valued and remunerated with transparency and consistency.
