What we can help with
The School Readiness Funding (SRF) Allied Health Program works with kindergartens to improve outcomes in the following priority areas for 3- and 4-year-old children:
- Communication (language, literacy & numeracy)
- Wellbeing (social, emotional & executive function)
- Access, inclusion & participation.
Our School Readiness Allied Health team work collaboratively with kindergartens, providing support that is tailored to meet the needs of kindergarten children and their families.
Some ways we do this include:
- Workshops and training
- Case consultations
- Observations, coaching and mentoring with educators
- Modelling strategies
- Family information sessions
- Resource development

This service is provided on an ongoing basis at state-funded kindergartens. Contact your local kindergarten for enrolment information.
