Home Care packages can be confusing. It's all about staying at home as you get older, and we're here to make things simpler. With IPC Health by your side, you can keep enjoying the life you love — gardening, grandkids, going to the shops — while we take care of the admin.

No waiting list
There are often long government waiting times for your Home Care Package funding to be assigned to you. Once your funding comes through, you have 56 days to choose a Home Care Package provider. But once your package is assigned, there is no waiting time for you to sign up with IPC Health.

What is a Home Care Package?
Home Care Packages provide government-funded support to help older Australians stay at home for longer. They are designed to support your independence and meet your individual needs — from help with cleaning, meals and shopping, to nursing, personal care, and social activities.
There are four levels of packages, depending on the level of care you need. And if you’re not sure where to start, we can guide you through every step.
As of 1 July, these packages will be called Support at Home. For more information see health.gov.au Support at Home .

We’re here to listen, understand, and walk alongside you — because your care should feel personal.
We support clients from all backgrounds and walks of life, and we know how important it is to feel understood. Many of our Care Managers speak another language — including French, Greek, Turkish, Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian and Chinese — and most are bilingual. If we don’t have someone who speaks your language, we’ll organise an interpreter. Because care should feel comfortable.
What can your package be used for?
Your Home Care Package can cover a wide range of services, including:
Help around the house: cleaning, laundry, gardening
Meals and nutrition support
Personal care and grooming
Nursing and allied health (like physio or podiatry)
Mobility aids, home safety and modifications
Transport and social support
If there’s something else you need, just ask. We’ll make it happen.
We’re an approved provider of Home Care Packages and we can organise our own allied health teams with services like occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, exercise physiology, podiatry and dietetics at our locations or in your home (where available).
We offer choice and flexibility about who will provide your care. We have our own staff for many services, and also have contracts with many different providers. You’ll never be restricted to one provider and we will never charge you for changing service providers. That means that you'll always be supported by people you feel comfortable with.
Our tertiary qualified Care Partners are available to answer any questions you have. They'll work with you to make sure you’re getting the best services and value out of your Home Care Package now and in the future.
