Creating safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for everyone

At IPC Health, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and welcome.

Free to Be is our commitment to creating inclusive environments where people are free to be themselves - whether they are accessing our services, working with us, or partnering with us in the community.

It recognises that we are all different, and that our differences are a strength. By embracing diversity and inclusion, we help people feel a sense of belonging and support better health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals and communities.

What is it?

The Free to Be: Inclusion Framework translates IPC Health’s commitment to equity and belonging into a structured, measurable approach to inclusion. The Framework embeds inclusion across governance systems and everyday practice at IPC Health to ensure that inclusion is consistent and measurable across the organisation. It is enabled through three pillars, which together, create a cycle of culture, action, and accountability.

Free to Be means you are welcome at IPC Health, no matter who you are or where you come from.

We are committed to providing safe, supportive and culturally responsive services for people of all abilities, ages, genders and sexualities, cultures, faiths, backgrounds and lived experiences - including mental health.

It means:

  • Being treated with dignity, respect and kindness
  • Feeling safe to be yourself, without fear of judgement or discrimination
  • Having your voice heard and your needs understood
  • Accessing services that are responsive, inclusive and equitable
