Skills, experience and expertise

Chris is an experienced CEO, business advisor and director. CEO roles included for a group of rehabilitation facilities, the Skin Health Institute, two law firms and an accounting and financial services firm. Chris has also been Deputy CEO of a major Melbourne teaching hospital. Directorships have covered both corporate and not for profit sectors, with additional roles as chair of Governance, Strategy, and Finance Audit & Risk Management sub-committees. His pro bono work with the international Human Variome Project, affiliated with UNESCO and the World Health Organisation, together with other contributions to the community led to him being awarded an Order of Australia (AM).

Consulting work involves corporate and not for profit sectors, including health practices. He also contributes pro bono as a member of the Australasian College of Dermatologists Digital Health Committee and the Executive of the MelCOR project (pilot to establish an Australia-wide Melanoma data registry).

Chris spent the first 30 years of his life in the western suburbs (Maidstone, East Keilor and Keilor) and contributed to local community organisations, including as President of Williamstown Rotaract. Chris has a long history in philanthropy and community service, including as a board member of Philanthropy Australia and the Australian Communities Foundation.
