We have a zero tolerance of child abuse and will take all concerns and allegations of abuse and safety concerns very seriously.
Your rights
- You can expect to be safe and to feel safe everywhere
- You can expect that adults that work with you know how to keep you safe
- You can tell an adult if you don’t feel safe and they must help you
If you need help:
If you are being abused or may be in immediate danger, you should call ‘000’ immediately and talk to the Victoria Police.
If you are concerned someone else needs protection, you can report to Child Protection.
If you visit us, we will respect your privacy and confidentiality where possible.
You have the right to:
- Health care
- Feel safe
- Get easy to understand information about your health
- Tell us if you are unhappy about your care or our service
- Have someone to represent you
- Use an interpreter
We ask you to:
- To be nice to our staff, volunteers, clients and visitors
- Tell us information to help us to provide the right care
- Respect the privacy of others at IPC Health services
- Make sure not to share information about others in group programs
- To ask for more information if you don’t understand something
