Cardiac Rehabilitation

We provide Cardiac Rehabilitation to anyone who has recently experienced heart health problems and who lives, works or studies in Brimbank, Wyndham and Hobsons Bay.

Cardiac Rehabilitation can help to increase your knowledge about heart health and improve your confidence and overall health and wellbeing.

Coordinated by a nurse and an exercise physiologist the program comprises a weekly session for eight weeks teaching clients how to get back their quality of life and independence after a cardiac event. With the assistance of a physiotherapist and dietitian clients learn about the risk factors of heart disease, treatments and procedures, medications, healthy eating, physical activity and exercise, relaxation and setting goals.
