We provide Women’s Health Service to people who live, work or study in Brimbank, Hobsons Bay and Wyndham.

Women’s Health Clinics run weekly at our campuses in:

– Sunshine

– St Albans

– Altona Meadows

– Hoppers Crossing

Our nurses at the GP clinics in Wyndham Vale and Deer Park also provide Women’s Health Services.

What does a Women’s Health Nurse do?

A Women’s Health Nurse can help you with support and information on sexual and reproductive health. They can provide pap smears, pregnancy testing and advice and referrals to other services.

It is a confidential service for women of all ages.

How can a Women’s Health Nurse help?

A Women’s Health Nurse can help with:

– Sexual and reproductive health

– Fertility

– Family planning / contraceptive advice

– Menopause / mid life issue

– Menstrual health

– Safe sex

– Breast awareness education

– Continence

– Sexuality advice – same sex attracted, trans gender

– Free condoms

– Referral to other services

How do I get an appointment?

Contact your nearest IPC Health campus. You may be put on a waiting list.

Is there a fee?

No. This service is free.

Can I have an interpreter?

Yes. Ask if you need an interpreter. Interpreters are free.
