George Kogios

Qualifications: BBus (Accounting), MAICD, Post Graduate Diploma (Taxation), Diploma of Superannuation Management, Fellow – Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (FASFA), Regulatory Guidelines (RG146 Accredited)

Skills, experience and expertise 

George has experience in the following sectors: Finance, Superannuation, Banking, Education, Manufacturing, Advertising and Healthcare. He was formerly the Business Manager and Company Secretary of Heathdale Christian College. He held this position from 2000 to 2014. He is currently Business Manager of Sunbury Downs College and Chairs the OH&S Committee. In both these roles, he was/is responsible for all non-teaching activities such as infrastructure, finance, HR, OH&S and corporate governance and turned two loss-making schools into highly profitable entities. Prior to these George was Assistant Financial Controller at Challenger Life Ltd and previous to this was Fund Secretary running the corporate defined benefit scheme at Cigweld Employees Superannuation Fund.

Daryl Whitfort

Qualifications: MBA, BBus, CPA, GAICD

Skills, experience and expertise 

Daryl, since October 2007, is the Director Corporate Services for Hume City Council and combined has 28 years’ experience in strategic financial planning, governance, risk management, ICT and customer focus.

As a Board Member, Daryl has contributed to the level of financial and risk literacy though questions that provided understanding for both Board and Committee members, resulting in enhanced financial planning and forecasting, linkages in operational and financial reporting and the knowledge to manage investment funds.

Peter Gluskie

Sanela Osmic

Qualifications: MIB, BBus

Skills, experience and expertise 

Sanela is an Executive Coach and Managing Director of Ethical Governance Pty Ltd, a coaching company she established to help her clients enhance leadership capacity and improve ethical culture of organisations. She has a strong educational background and extensive experience in governance and relationship management, with specific expertise in human behaviour. Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Sanela has also served as a Member Engagement Executive with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), helping to assess member needs and provide ongoing professional development support; as well as promoting diversity in the boardroom.

Sanela speaks several languages and has a deep understanding of different cultures through living in Bosnia, Germany and Australia. She is very passionate about social justice, equality and inclusion.

Jenny McMahon

Skills, experience and expertise 

Jenny is currently the Director City Life at Wyndham City Council commencing in this role 1 July 2016, prior to this she was at Geelong City Council for 5 years.  She has held a number of roles in Local Government including Director Community Services, Director Infrastructure Services, Director Advocacy and various other roles after starting her career as an Early Childhood Educator. She has a strong interest in good governance, particularly in the community and not for profit sectors and has been involved in many community and health organisations across the Western and South Western Regions of Victoria.

John Hedditch

Qualifications: Graduate Diploma in Health Service Management (RMIT)

Skills, experience and expertise 

John has deep experience in Commonwealth and State Government having held executive and senior management positions for over 40 years within the Commonwealth Department of Housing and Construction and the Victorian Department of Health and Community Services. More recently John established the Hedditch Group, a consulting agency that aims to deliver responsible social, economic and environmental outcomes through the provision of professional services to the Government, not-for-profit and private sectors. John has always promoted the importance of people, diversity and local communities. In 2016 John was elected Mayor of Brimbank. As Mayor and now as a Councillor, John continues to promote the voices of the diverse communities in Brimbank and aims to improve outcomes for the people and communities of Melbourne’s West who are most in need. As a Director for IPC Health, John brings a wealth of knowledge in community health, as well as experience gained from working in local, State and Commonwealth Governments.

IPC Health Board Member Paul Geyer

Paul Geyer

Qualifications: BSc (Botany & Philosophy), MBA,  FAICD, FGIA

Skills, experience and expertise 

Paul has over 25 years of executive experience (12 as a CEO) across retail, health and professional services. This experience includes 3 health care start-ups. Paul’s strategy and entrepreneurial experience is combined with a deep understanding of corporate governance gained as a governance consultant with VUCA Trusted Advisors, over 10 years of experience as a director and 10 years as State Manager, Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Ngaire Anderson

Ngaire is an experienced health manager and board Director, with over 18 years of experience across clinical, training, educational, managerial, executive and governance roles in public, private and not-for-profit organisations. Ngaire’s expertise and experience have positioned her to be at the forefront of developing and influencing effective strategies for organisations including Comcare, the national authority for work health and safety and workers’ compensation, where she is currently Director Mental Health and Research.

Ngaire’s passion for supporting communities and individuals in receiving high-quality person-centred care has also featured prominently in her 16+ year paramedic career and long-standing commitment to volunteering including with young people, older people, and people with a disability.

Jayne excels in developing strategies and leading complex teams to deliver a service-oriented, high performance work culture. She is a diverse and innovative thinker as
well as rational leader who can quickly assess risks, opportunities to be decisive and proactive.

With a diverse industry background, having worked in higher education and advertising, Jayne often draws on her experience in these industries to find creative solutions to problems that arise. This has resulted in the development of strategies that translate well into operations, while ensuring business success and sustainability.

He is passionate about inspiring and empowering people to make a difference, particularly where there is disadvantage or inequity, and is a strong believer in social innovation and social enterprise as a means of creating sustainable, impactful change.

Ian is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). He is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the entity’s overall financial management and compliance, facilities management, contracts and procurement.

Prior to joining IPC Health,  Ian was the Executive Director of Finance at Forensicare from 2017, Director of Finance for Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from 2014, and the Business Manager for Royal Melbourne Hospital from 2007.
